This dynamic class comprises the classical form of Vinyasa yoga as taught in its traditional fix sequence. This is a full primary series sequence. The student is expected to have experience at least half of the series. 

The ashtanga opening chant is an intrinsic part of this practice.  This practice is 90 minutes. 

OPEN PRACTICE

Open practice is a 2 hr class for you to understand & deepen your practice. It is suitable for all levels and all kind of yoga practice.

What is an OPEN PRACTICE?

  • The studio is open for 2 hours & student can come & end given the allocated time
  • The student will be given a customize sequence based on each individual’s goal (Primary series base/Ashtanga)
  • Students will come & practice at their own pace
  • There will be no instructions & the teacher will give guidance & make adjustments
  • Based on the student’s progress, new advance poses will be given to deepening the practice

Yogabar is the 1st studio in Singapore that offers yoga synergy practice and is taught by @remy_yoga. The practice was established in 1984 by experienced yoga practitioners and physiotherapists, Bianca Machliss & Simon Borg-Olivier. The aim of the practice is to teach the ancient art of yoga in a safe, fun, and intelligent way. The unique style is based on a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, modern medical science, and traditional Hatha yoga.

Combines yin yoga with dynamic flow practice.
The yin portion is a gentle, subtle, and meditative practice that teaches us to surrender to our limitation and ego. All poses are help 3-5 minutes so the muscles can be relax and allow the deep connective tissues around your body. The yang portion of this class allows us to integrate this openness and awareness into a sense of steadiness and alignment with vinyasa (flow) in our practice. Recommended for more basic and strenuous approach.

A Hatha Flow class is taught with unique sequencing to promote a dynamic + relaxing experience. This class incorporates all aspects of a traditional Hatha yoga class – breath, meditation and postures – while challenging your co-ordination through movement. Suitable for beginner and intermediate

Hatha yoga teaches various steps of inner body cleansing with consultations of one's yoga teacher. Its texts vary in specifics and number of cleansing methods, ranging from simple hygiene practices to the peculiar exercises such as reversing seminal fluid flow. 

Suitable for student with some experience looking to have an invigorating experience. Asana focusing in overall body system, introduction of inversion, arm balance, hip opening and shoulder opening.

Learn the right alignment of the asanas and breathing techniques to set a strong foundation for your yoga practice. This class is definitely ideal for newbies to yoga and for those who likes back to basic. 

The other words mean Yoga Flow. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you to flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale.

 

Student has been practicing yoga at least more than 2 months with regular practice.

Starting to step up from Hatha to vinyasa (yoga Flow). This class is a good way to kick up your Vinyasa practice. Slowly learn how to synchronise between your breath and movement. Getting familiar with the Vinyasa sequence. 

This dynamic class comprises the classical form of Vinyasa yoga as taught in its traditional fix sequence. It combines power and flexibility with the movement, band and breath to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice.

 

During this practice, introduction of sun salute type A & B for a start continued with legs sequence and introduction of sitting poses, lying down and finishing sequences. Suitable for beginner who never done any ashtanga sequence before.

The ashtanga opening chant is an intrinsic part of this practice.  During this practice, the primary and finishing sequence are shortened.

Suitable for students with previous Vinyasa or ashtanga experience. 

Yin yoga is completely the opposite of traditional hatha yoga. it allows the muscles to take a break, and work deeply on the stiffer, dryer and harder tissues such as the bones, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Slow and Simple poses are held at a much longer timing with/without aid of straps and blocks. Overtime, these connective tissue relaxes and gradually becomes longer and stronger.

Yoga therapy is a type of therapy that uses yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery to improve mental and physical health. The holistic focus of yoga therapy encourages the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Suitable for beginners, recovering from injury (min 6 months or base on your therapy advice), restore your energy after a long day.”

Combination fast and slow movement, which align with your breath. Practice the primary series where physical strength and control mind and breath end it with a good Savasana as result rejuvenate feeling.
